Raising a ticket about a proxy from the dashboard

Updated 2 min read

Report an issue files a support ticket tied to a specific proxy, so support starts with the proxy, its order and its status already attached. Use it instead of email when the problem concerns one or more proxies you own.

Steps

  1. Open the proxy's page, or select several proxies on the line's list.

  2. Select Report an issue.

  3. Choose the kind of problem:

    Choice Use it for
    Slow or unstable speeds
Throughput far below the plan, or transfers that collapse part-way
    Cannot connect
    Timeouts, refused connections, drops mid-session
    Credentials rejected
A 407 or an authentication failure with the dashboard's credentials
    Blocked by the target site
CAPTCHAs, 403s or bans on one site while the proxy is reachable
    Wrong location
An exit in a different country or city from the one bought
    Something else
Anything else; the description is then required
  4. Set When did it start, add the site in Where you saw it (optional), and describe what happened: error messages, timings and what you were doing.

  5. Select Send report.

Expected result

The confirmation shows a reference. Quote it in any follow-up with support@proxyforge.io.

Before you file

Run the checks in Testing a proxy before production use. The proxy page also has Test this proxy, which dials it the way your client would and does not touch your balance. A ticket that includes a failing check, with the time and your time zone, is resolved faster.

Do not put passwords or API keys in the description.
