Identity verification and sanctions screening

The terms of service provide for screening accounts against sanctions lists. An account can also be asked to verify the identity of its holder, for example when deposits pass a threshold, before a refund, or after an abuse report. Verification is a one-time check with a photo ID, done in the dashboard.
Verifying
- Open My account > Identity. The status reads Verification required when a check is needed.
- Select Start verification, or Try again after a check that did not finish or expired.
- Follow the steps: a photo of an identity document and a picture of yourself. The images go directly to the verification provider and are not stored by ProxyForge.

While a required check is outstanding or has failed, deposits, new orders, renewals and reactivations are held. A proxy on auto-buy is not renewed during that time, so verify before its expiry date.
Who cannot be served
The service is not available to anyone subject to sanctions administered by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United Nations, or located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or region. Section 3 of the terms of service lists them.
If a check stopped you
No account is closed on the result of an automated check alone. To ask for a person to review a decision, write to support@proxyforge.io. Do not send identity documents by email unless a member of staff asks for them.
